Description

The existing dental clinic at Ramstein Air Base was housed in six widely dispersed treatment facilities and outbuildings. The main clinic consisted of two buildings. The main building with the wings A+B was built in 1953. The second building (Wing C) was an annex of modular design.

In order to optimise the treatment of patients, it was planned to set up additional treatment facilities and to reorganise the existing medical departments along functional lines.

To achieve this, a multi-storey annex with integrated access to the existing dental clinic was built. In addition, all parts of the building were provided with air-conditioning and sprinklers.
DORSCH CONSULT was retained to carry out design work in respect of building construction and technical building equipment.
