Description

Within the scope of the restructuring of the Nuremberg North-East Business Park (approx. 27 ha) existing buildings are gradually replaced by new constructions. The construction works comprise the demolition of former premises, soil excavation and soil replacement, the new construction of buildings and the associated infrastructure (sewers, roads, etc.). Investigations revealed the existence of soil, building material and groundwater contamination within the area which is listed in the contaminated site file of the public authorities. Investigations of building material, soil and groundwater as well as remediation measures are planned and performed in co-ordination with the client and the relevant public authorities. The resulting measures are included in the planning and supervision of construction and demolition works and are substantiated in tender documents, remediation plans and occupational health and safety plans.
