High ranking federal ministers being present, on May 14th 2013 the roofing ceremony of the new building of the Federal Police Flying Squadron Oberschleissheim took place. The numerous guests were welcomed by the vice director of the State Construction Authority München 1. The Federal Republic of Germany as main awarding authority is represented by the Federal Ministry of Traffic, Construction and Development, represented by the State Building Authority, represented by the Construction Authority München 1, the client of Dorsch International.
Thus, at the “craftsmen celebration” speeches were given by
- Dr. Peter Ramsauer, Federal Minister for Traffic, Construction and Town Development
- Dr. Hans-Peter Friedrich, Federal Minister of the Interior
- Mr. Joachim Herrmann, State Minister of the Interior
- Mr. Carsten Herrmann, Leader of the Federal Police Flying Squadron Oberschleissheim.
Currently, the new quarters building is being constructed for the Federal Police Flying Squadron Section South and the Bavarian Police Flying Squadron at the airfield Oberschleißheim. The Flying Squadrons consist of the helicopters EC-135, EC-155, SA-332 and NH-90. The aim of the design is to optimize the technical and functional organisation of the helicopter operations of the federal police and the police and to benefit from the synergy effects by setting them together. The main condition of this project is that the current air traffic and maintenance of the Flying Squadron in the existing landed property have to be kept up both during the own construction measure and during the one of the state police.
Since 2008, a multidisciplinary team of airport experts, experts for the remediation of contaminated sites, geotechnical engineers as well as water and sanitation engineers is working on this challenging project for the State Construction Authority München 1. At the roofing ceremony party accompanied by music the people in charge on behalf of the client expressed their satisfaction. They are optimistic that we will be able to celebrate the opening timely and in line with the budget with equally high ranking guests.
