Hydroinformatics

Numeric simulation methods play an important role in many technical domains of the water sector. Using measured data they predict of natural and man-made flow processes and are thus essential for system designs.

Our service spectrum covers both the application of existing hydraulics and hydrology models, and custom-made developments for individual solutions.

We have also carried out our own extensive in-house software development, such as the hydrodynamic sewerage model BaSYS-HydroCAD, the long-term flow series simulation with computation of pollution flux, and the statistical evaluation of precipitation data. These programs are also integrated as modules into the GIS system BaSYS L.E.O. by Barthauer Software GmbH, which is responsible for the marketing of our own in-house software.
